Jon began playing the guitar when he was 19, after five years of being a certifiable U2 fan. Throughout his twenties he developed an unhealthy obsession with pop music, particularly Crowded House (with whom he played at Wembley Arena) and Deacon Blue. He was forced to join Hope and Glory in 2008. Pop is still a love, from Jamiroquai to Morrissey, and Jon spends his spare time at home in Warwickshire learning new music. Last month he learnt a fourth chord. When he is not strumming he writes crime fiction and runs the world famous Cotswold Cheese Company in Moreton-in-Marsh.
